10 Best Gym Bags (Review) in 2021

Kicking off our Best Gym Bags review for you today we have a little beauty from Adidas in the perfectly shaped form of their small Diablo duffel bag. There’s absolutely no point buying a huge gym bag if all you need are your trainers, shorts and a t-shirt. You’ll only end up filling it with stuff you don’t need then complaining that you’ve had a workout from carrying it around with you all day! The dimensions of the Diablo are 18.5” x 11” x 10”.

As you’d expect from Adidas, this very much combines stylish form with practical function to deliver a small-sized and durable duffel style bag that is just perfect to tote your gear around in. It’s been made from durable and robust 600 denier polyester so can withstand heavy and regular use, and it features a secure access top loading zippered compartment with plenty of room to store your workout essentials.

Next up we’re sticking with Adidas and taking a look at their Defender Duffel which has the option to purchase in three different roomy sizes, Small (20.5” x 11.75” x 11”), Medium (24” x 13” x 12”) or Large (29” x 15” c 12”). There’s nothing fancy about this sports bag, but it is most certainly practical and seriously functional. It’s made from lightweight polyester and has a generous amount of internal storage space plus there are locker loops for convenient storage and structure piping.

You can hand wash the bag and wipe it clean I case it gets muddy from being out on the football or rugby pitch, and it conveniently can be carried either by the double top handles or a separate shoulder strap. The lining and the bag itself as both 100% polyester and there’s a sturdy zipper closure. With 5 colors to choose from each featuring the Puma logo screen printed on the front. This is a practical and dependable choice.

A slightly different departure shape wise, this Elite multi-purpose duffel bag is from the brand’s Warrior series so has been designed with Boxers and MMA’s athletes and competitors in mind. Even if you don’t use boxing gloves and wraps though, this still makes an excellent option for the gym and comes in 6 colors designed to appeal to both males and females. We’ve not seen many Muay Thai fighters carrying a bright pink kit bag but each to their own!

Elite Sports Warrior features a mesh compartment with a waterproof lining which is perfect for storing wet workout clothes and will help to stop the spread of bacteria. The bag itself can also be washed which is a great feature for a workout bag. Made from heavy-duty Cordura which is a high grade 1200 Denier it has been absolutely constructed to last. It’s definitely up for a challenge and won’t rip or tear or need replacing anytime soon! The only question is, are you and your fighting skills quite so prepared?

Overall it measures 20” x 9” x 11” and has plenty of extra pockets for storing valuables.

Not so much a gym bag as such, more a weekender or overnight bag and certainly very stylish. We appreciate that not everyone wants to look like Sports Billy!
