Cards Against Humanity
Cards Against Humanity is considered to be one of the most interesting card games ever created. It doesn’t conform to the usual civilization-building or empire-building games. Instead, it encourages everyone to be creative and bring out their humor (even dark humor) into the game. Here, it’s the weirdest and the funniest that wins.
Created by Cards Against Humanity LLC, this game is played by pairing a white card to the black card drawn by the head of the game for the round. The funniest, wittiest, or even the most insensitive pairing will be voted on by the other players. The person who wins gets the black card. It’s as easy as that.
Card games are meant to help pass the time and reinforce laughter and fun. Cards Against Humanity makes sure that this is done even with just the help of black-and-white cards. There are no other rules, there is no fanfare, and there aren’t even a lot of parts included in the box. This game has definitely mastered the art of simplicity. All you need to win the game is your sense of humor.
The package comes with 500 white cards and 1000 black cards. At the back of the box, you will find the directions. It costs $25 which is not bad for a minimalist card game.
If there is one thing people should be careful about when playing this game is that it is not for conservative and reserved people. Since the game is run by humor, it is best to keep sensitivities in check at all times. For obvious reasons, this is not for children. Hence, it is not considered a family game. Nonetheless, it can bring loads of laughter among friends and relatives especially if you have the same sense of humor. Just remember, no fragile people allowed in this game!
