Audio-Technica ATH-ANC900BT QuietPoint Wireless ANC Headphone
With so many headphones in the market, it is almost impossible to make any distinction among the brands. Yet, Audio-Technica has somehow managed to create a wireless headphone that features a fully digital, hybrid technology that effectively reduces more ambient noise than other brands. This is the main selling point of the QuietPoint Over-Ear Headphones.
No one outside Audio-Technica knows exactly the composition of the digital hybrid technology that is embedded into the QuietPoint. What is observed is that the technology is more capable of reducing ambient noises a lot greater than even leading headphones. You’d still hear some noise, no doubt about it. But with the QuietPoint, you’ll be treated a lot more to the wonderful sounds of music than the annoying acoustics of noise.
QuietPoint allows you to enjoy your favorite tunes or even answer calls and have meaningful conversations without ever feeling bothered by the noise around you. You’ll never have to strain trying to listen to what the person on the other side of the line is saying since every word uttered will come out crystal clear.
The other good news is that the QuietPoint comes with a hear-through function that can be switched manually. This allows you to have a normal conversation with another physically-present individual without having to manually turn the volume down or even removing the QuietPoint from your ears.
The 40-mm acoustic drivers on the QuietPoint are coated with DLC, allowing for enhanced reproduction of sound. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, highly-responsive touch controls, and Audio-Technica Connect app integration round up the QuietPoint’s bevy of features.
The QuietPoint’s obvious strongest point is its hybrid noise cancellation technology. While this is sufficient for now to make it a highly valuable headphone, Audio-Technica has to come up with other ways to snare a bigger share of the pie.
