The bottom line is we love the way the Ridge looks and feels and it will doubtless protect your cards from electronic snooping. Just don’t expect it to carry as much as your old bifold.

The Ekstar Parliament is another compact leather wallet that does a pretty good job walking the line between today’s minimalist designs and yesterday’s bloated bifolds. The whole thing folds up to just a bit larger than the average credit card, the top flips open to reveal a couple of card sleeves, while the larger RFID blocker compartment remains accessible only from the top.

That main compartment is lined with high grade aluminum and is wrapped in a wide elasticized band that holds your cash. There’s room for up to 6 cards in the RFID card holder compartment.
