1. Put On The Right Shoes

This way, you can hold in all that heat and keep the moisture out. For the upper part of your running shoes, a material like Gore-Tex would be great on all fronts. Couple all this with a pair of socks designed to keep moisture at bay while being incredibly warm, then you have yourself the perfect setup for a great running session.
2. Do Not Skip Out On A Warm-Up

Instead, opt for something with zips present at the neck and put areas so that the heat generated there can be expelled easily. 6. Beat The Wind At Its Own Game
For anyone running or simply walking outside in the heart of winter, the main enemy is the wind. That’s why avid runners need to beat the wind at its own Game by strategically planning out their route. Be sure to begin your run facing the direction of the wind. Then end it with the wind at your back; that way, you don’t get those giant gusts of wind blowing at your back when you’re drenched in sweat. Best believe that those chills will have you dreading winter running altogether. If there’s no getting around it, explore the option of some artificial/natural windshields. Take advantage of tall buildings and trees that can help you get through the run.
7. Change Up!
This is one running tip you do not want to depart from, especially when it comes to winter running. There’s a whole science as to why you need to change out of your running clothes once you’re done. Immediately you stop running, your core body temperature goes down. If you sit in sweat logged clothes for a while, it’s only going to result in a bad case of the chills. You need to straight-up take off everything you had on while running and even throw in some additional post-workout rituals. For instance, women should cover their wet hair with a warm towel or beenie. This goes for men too because women no longer have a monopoly on long hair. In addition to that, a hot beverage will help to bring the body temperature up to a normal level.
